BoostPrep was our choice for best overall TEAS prep course. They offer 2 main options for you to choose from:
- TEAS Prep (Core): $39
- TEAS Prep (Pro): $59
The main difference between Core and Pro is that Core only includes practice exams and question banks. Pro includes everything they have to offer. We would recommend purchasing the Pro version for the additional $20.
Overall, the user interface is the best in the industry. This is something that stood out to us when comparing the different providers. The interface on BoostPrep felt significantly better than the other courses we looked at.
You can easily navigate around and find where you need to go. In addition, there is a nicely designed dashboard that shows you all of your resources. You can use the dashboard as your “homebase”.

The practice exams are very good. You will find 28+ practice exams in this course. The exams are split up into 4 sections, just like the actual exam. In addition, they have the same number of questions and time limits as the actual exam.
After you finish an exam, you will have a score report that breaks down how you performed. You will also be shown the answer explanations for every single question. The explanations are really good and walk you through how to solve the question step by step.

The learning content in concise and easy to use. The lessons are easy to digest and include only the information you need to know. We did not feel overwhelmed like we did with some of the other providers.
The learning content is organized by subject, so it is easy to find what you need. The lessons contain an important vocab, notes, examples, and key takeaways.
In addition, there are also video summaries in the math section. These videos are quick (~10 minutes) that summarize everything you just learned in video format.

Lastly, there are other various features in the course like flashcards, question banks, diagnostic exams, and study schedules. All of the features are well thought out and work great.
The diagnostic exam is 50 questions long and helps you pinpoint where to start your studies.
The flashcards are organized by subject, which allows you to focus on specific subjects you want to work on.
There are 4 study schedules, each with a different timeline. There is a cram, 4-week, 6-week, and 8-week study schedule.

- Practice Questions: 2,650+
- Practice Exams: 32+
- Flashcards: 310+
- Diagnostic Exams: No

Best For
- Students looking to learn from video lessons.
- Students wanting a monthly option.
Not Recommended For
- Students who want a concise way to learn.
Mometrix was our choice for best video learning. They keep it nice and simple and only offer 1 option:
- TEAS Prep: $79/Month
There is a lot of learning content, almost too much. Some parts of the course felt like severe information overload. Don’t get us wrong, it is good to have a lot of information, but we question whether we needed to know everything they threw at us.

The video lessons are well done. They are relatively engaging and definitely have good information. Some of them are on the longer side, but that is okay.
The videos do make the overall course harder/longer to get through. But this will naturally happen as videos typically take longer to use versus traditional reading.
The course organization is very simple and the interface is simple as well. There is a main page that serves as your dashboard and lists all of your resources. It is not the best designed thing ever, but gets the job done.
The user interface does not have a ton of bells and whistles. This is not a huge deal, but we do wish it was updated a bit.

There are plenty of practice exams. You will find 32+ practice exams (8 per subject) in this course. The practice exams have the same number of questions and time limits as the actual exam.
There are answer explanations at the end of each exam. In addition, we found that some of the math questions has video answer explanations (not all of them, but some).

Mometrix Pros and Cons
Pros
- Video lessons
- Monthly option
Cons
- Very expensive
- User interface is very basic
Nursehub: Best Bundle
NurseHub

- Subscription Length: 3 Months
- Free Trial: Yes
- Course Guarantee: Partial Money Back
- Practice Questions: 2,280+
- Practice Exams: 28+
- Flashcards: No
- Diagnostic Exams: Yes

Best For
- Someone looking to study for both the HESI and the TEAS
Not Recommended For
- Someone who is just focusing on the HESI A2 exam
NurseHub was our choice for best bundled learning. When you signup with them, you get access to their TEAS and HESI materials.
- NurseHub: $59.99 / 3 Months
The dashboard is interactive. You can easily add things you are interested in to your dashboard for easy access. For example, if you were not studying for the HESI, you could choose to not add any of the HESI materials to your dashboard.
The interface be can a bit confusing at times. We found ourselves getting lost in the course sometimes.

The learning content is solid and there are videos mixed in. You will find the learning content is split into lessons. The lessons contain learning content in text and video form. Some of the videos aren’t the best quality and just rehash what was said in the written content.
With that being said, the learning content can get the job done. It did feel like some content was reused between the TEAS and HESI subjects, but this is to be expected as the exams overlap a good amount.

Throughout the course, you will find there is a sidebar you can use to navigate around. This was a nice feature and we enjoyed it.
The practice exams are pretty good. Most of the practice exams seemed pretty good, but there were a couple of questions here and there that seemed off. You will most likely be fine using these practice exams, but just something to be aware of.
You will have answer explanations at the end of each exam. The explanations are actually very good. The math ones walk you through the problem step by step and did a good job explaining complex concepts.

NurseHub Pros and Cons
Pros
- Bundled learning (HESI & TEAS)
- Monthly subscription option
Cons
- Confusing interface
Other HESI A2 Courses We Tested
Here are our summary reviews of other TEAS prep courses we tested.
ATI TEAS: ATI TEAS is the official provider of the exam. To get the same features as the above 3 providers, you would need to purchase the $199 option from ATI. You only take the exams they offer one time. The learning content in the course feels like a textbook and is not interactive. We would avoid this one.
Nursing.com: Nursing.com offers its TEAS prep course as part of a subscription, with the most popular plan costing $59 per month. Students also have access to other nursing courses (NCLEX, TEAS, etc..). The TEAS course includes 29 video-based lessons and 6 downloadable PDF cheat sheets. While practice questions are included, they are not TEAS-specific and the course lacks full-length TEAS practice exams. We would avoid this one.
