BoostPrep TEAS Features
We are now going to dive into the features offered by BoostPrep. Keep reading for actual screenshots from the course.
Dashboard
The dashboard is the home for students on the BoostPrep platform. You can find all of your resources on the dashboard and easily navigate to where you need to go.
You will find the following on your dashboard:
- How to Use Your TEAS Prep Course
- TEAS Diagnostic Exam
- TEAS Math
- TEAS English
- TEAS Reading
- TEAS Science
- TEAS Practice Exams 1-7
- TEAS Study Schedules
We really like the look and feel of the dashboard and the whole user interface within the course.

Lessons
The majority of your learning will take place within the lessons. All of the lessons include the following:
- Important Vocab Terms
- Concise Notes
- Examples
- Key Takeaways
We really like how easy the lessons are to digest. The content does not feel overwhelming like some other providers. The examples are also very helpful.

Knowledge Check Exams
After each lesson, there is a knowledge check exam. These knowledge check exams are short in nature and only include 10-20 questions.
After answering each question, you will immediately see the answer explanation which makes for easy learning.

Videos
There are some videos in the course. However, the videos are only in the math section of the course. We don’t mind this as we find that sometimes videos can make the learning process “drone on”.
The videos are actually video summaries. They are placed at the end of each lesson and provide video summaries of what you just learned. They are all on the shorter side (~10 minutes or shorter).

Flashcards
There are also flashcards within the course. You can find the flashcards by navigating to the specific section of the course you want to study in.
For example, if you wanted to study for TEAS science, you would navigate to that portion of the course and there you would find the science flashcards.
The flashcards are split into sections based on categories. We like this because it allows you to focus on specific topics. You can also skim all the flashcards in the set, which saves you time from flipping through all the cards one by one.

Question Banks
You will find 4 total question banks in the course. The 4 question banks include:
- TEAS Math Question Bank
- TEAS Science Question Bank
- TEAS English Question Bank
- TEAS Reading Question Bank
Each of the question banks is located in the corresponding portion of the course. These are great to review after you have completed your studies and want to brush up on topics by using questions.

Full-Length Exams
The full-length exams are one of the best features of this prep course. They have the same number of questions and time limits as the actual exam.
In addition, BoostPrep has the same types of questions in their exams as the actual exam. You will receive a score report following each exam. The score report will break down your score based on the same topics as the actual TEAS exam.
In addition, you will have detailed answer explanations for every single question. You can use these answer explanations to better understand key concepts.
Note: You can take every exam as many times as you would like, there are no limits. This is important because some providers have limits on the number of times you can take an exam.

Diagnostic Exam
There is 1 diagnostic exam in your course. The exam is 50 questions long and contains questions from all 4 TEAS subjects.
BoostPrep recommends that you take the diagnostic exam to begin your studies. They say that you can use the diagnostic exam to pinpoint your problem areas.
At the end of the diagnostic exam, you get a score report that tells you how you scored in each subject. You can then determine which subjects you struggled the most in and start your studies there.

Study Schedules
There are 4 study schedules in the course. The 4 study schedules are:
- Cram
- 4-Week
- 6-Week
- 8-Week
Each study schedule is designed for a specific time period. We like that they offer 4 different schedules. However, we wish that we could check boxes when we completed something in the schedule (the course does mark things complete, just not the study schedule).
